Fiesta!

Every year in August, the Montreal LGBTQ community attracts visitors from all over the world to celebration sexual diversity and openness. This year, Célébrations LGBTQ has assigned the theme of Fiesta! to its Community Day and Parade, to be held on the weekend of August 13th to 16th, 2009.  

CAEO Québec and its programs – Gay Line, SILK, and GayONLine – are proud to take part combat in the weekend’s celebrations. Over the past year, the CAEO family has plenty to celebrate: from fielding daily Gay Line calls to facilitating multiple SILK workshops, our CAEO volunteers continue to be laser-focused at increasing awareness of sexual diversity issues among the straight and LGBTQ population. In addition, we are also busy setting up the final touches of our new GayONLine program. Through these initiatives, we continue to combat homophobia, biphobia, transphobia and heterosexism across all ethno-cultural communities in our daily work.
