Annual General Meeting

On Saturday August 27th, - being blessed with beautiful weather - CAEO Quebec's Annual General Meeting was held at Parc Prefontaine with 14 people in attendance.

Volunteer, executive member and outstanding contribution ofthe year awards were presented to Suzanne Mainville, Katherine Black, and Gabrielle Bouchard respectively for their contributions to the organization. Congratulations to them, and a very special thank you to all of our volunteers.

New Volunteer Training! September 30th-October 2nd

CAEO Quebec is currently accepting applications for new GayLine and SILK volunteers. Our Gayline and general training will be taking place between September 30th and October 1st. It is mandatory to attend all training sessions to become a volunteer. GAY ONLINE services will temporarily cancelled until September 2011. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Gay Online has been on hold for a couple of months now, due to a lack of volunteers as well as low traffic on the chat server. The GAY ONLINE services will continue to be interrupted until Semptember 2011 as CAEO continues to evaluate and improve our services.

Nick Frate joined CAEO (formerly known as Gay Line) in 2005 as a volunteer, and has since taken this singular program, and transformed it into the organisation it is today. After only a year, Nick assumed the role of president and immediately implemented his vision for services targeting the needs of the Montreal community.
